Bought it to notch 2-7/8 inch well pipe for a fencing project. The steel is exceptionally hard and is 3/16 to 1/4 thick. A Starrett hole saw did not work. Decided to hire the notching out to a guy with a plasma cutter. Even though it did not work for my application it is still a very nice jig.

Just got it and I like the fit and finish.Packing was not sufficient box was broken open and my UPS driver handed me a piece that fell out of the box.

I will set up and see if i am missing anything else

I did a lot of research and agonized over which tubing notcher to buy. I ended up spending more money than I had planned. I purchased many of the options available to help ease and make sense of the notching process.

Not one regret.

Accurate out of the box and repeats over and over.

Built as strong as a bulldozer.

And yes Starrett Deep Cut saws are the way to go.
